Original works are created
on high grade material. Acid Free and Lignin Free materials will not deteriorate
over time and remain white. High grade fine grain watercolors are used to create
the work and reflect a quality unlike that of common brands.
Giclée
(jhee-clay) - French meaning "to spray ink".
A scanned image printed on a high resolution, inkjet printer. A tremendous advantage
to Giclee printing is that artwork can be reproduced to almost any size and
on various media, giving the artist the ability to customize prints for a specific
client. Image permanence is a concern to artists and collectors. A Giclee Print
is very stable, giving fade & color shift resistance of better than 25 years
for average indoor light conditions. When watercolor paper is used, this time
span increases up to 125 years. We offer printing on three kinds of materials,
a Arches watercolor paper, Canvas and Lustor a photo quality paper.
At this time, all prints of original works at the original size will be defined as "closed edition" or "limited edition". Meaning that there are a limited number of prints made per original. All prints will be hand numbered and signed by the artist. Smaller prints can be made and are also signed but not numbered as in a limited edition. This means that they are an "open editon" any number of these can be printed and sold at that given size.
