The
image We Shall Be Free came to life days after the tragic events of
September 11th.
The concept behind the vision was to reflect the inspiration of a unity of people with the goal to rebuild hope and faith. At the time I thought of it, it was about nothing more than what I was feeling. I can now stand back and tell you what it means or represents.
The opportunity to bring it to life came when I was called to do a custom job for a printing company in Billings, Montana by the name of Eagle Printing. The image was used for their self promo calandar for the year of 2002. I was granted 300 limited edition prints and retain the ownership of the original. I am honored to have been chosen to paint this vision for them and they have done nothing but help me further my exposure as an artist. A big THANKS to them, and to my brother Peter for landing me this opportunity.
